After 6 months in SISPEC, finally pass out as an Infantry Specialist.

Looking back the things I’ve done, I’m pretty proud of myself and my friends for accomplishing it so far.

Well done guys, and may this glory be always part of our memory.

With Pride We Lead

R&R was fun also, with pretty tour guides we have.

This coming thursday is the day when we will become Specialists and no longer cadet anymore,

waiting forward.

But it will going to be an interesting and exciting trip cos’ we are going there for training and our grand finale.
Sounds damn cool, but trust me, the terrain/mountainous areas there are going to kill us alive.

Plus the weather now is 28 Degree Celsius to 35 Degree Celsius.

That’s like even hotter than Current Singapore Weather lah.

Damn it.

Nevermind, I’m going to get myself a nice tan there hohoho.

Hopefully, everything will goes smooth for me and my friends, for after these 3 weeks, we’ll be passing out as 3rd Sergeants already.

Been watching alot of old dramas/movies at home this quarantine days.

Not a bad one thou, some kicks and punches here and there. kudos to Kristin Kreuk !

Watched Harper’s Island too, Season 1 epi. 01 to 11. 12 & 13 not out yet online.

The thing i like about this movie is that, you dunno who’s going to die this season, and as if every episode, you going to know who the killer is, and his motive. And one interesting part about this movie is that, when the cast, they went for their filming for that day, then they will know their script on the spot and not knowing when they going to die beforehand.

Overall, Damn nice this drama series, especially the part when Cal & Chloe dies that scene. Oh, and Trish is hot! OMG.

And lastly, the last movie i just finished is Confession with a Shopaholic.

Damn realistic, and nice this movie, came out in the Threatres quite some time, but yeah, finally caught it online.

Nevertheless, I’m going to screen for more good/nice movies, recommendations anyone?

Been playing dota and watching movies to kill time, all alone isolated in the room.

Anyway, I’m behaving normally, except for the fact that there’s additional phlegm and my urine is so super yellow color -.-

It’s Friday now, and 4 more days before bookin in. Arghh.

First thing happened upon me after that was the never ending blisters on my foot and the very exagerating abbrasions on both my thighs.

Nevertheless, i still keep on surviving the whole week til since Friday, when my temperature take for a change.

Was feeling rather ill already, and went reported sick. Yet, was only given a excuse from Light Duties and not Attend C.

Saturday upon reaching home, my temperature went up to 39.7 Degree Celsius. Straightaway without delay, Dad called the 993 ambulance for me to deliver me to the CDC (Communicable Disease Centre) for emergency screening of H1N1 @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

My body was so weak that, i wouldn’t wanna wake up and do things. Man, that feeling sucks.

Anyway, i was H1N1 negative, as i had a normal blood pressure

Not to worry, friends, you can still meet me, when i m feeling much better. Sorry to Yz and clique, that i couldn’t meet you guys.

Booking in less than 3 hours, next week lies ahead a 3days 2 nights field camp with trench digging. Good luck to me.

P/S: seriously no time to blog from now on, more and more outfield camps coming on, i would be spending my weekends sleeping my way thru, resting my over-clocked body, just in case.

Looking back on 12th December, when I enlisted as a recruit at BMTC tekong, i felt very miserable, like most.

But now, i felt very satisfied, the answers in life i been looking for, even during this 6 months journey in army.
In life, there’s no impossible. Whatever we do, when there’s a will, there’s a way out. Believe in yourself you can do it, exceed your limits and soar above the rest.

So as time flies fast, i at first, can’t believe that, I’m in SISPEC, doing my ASLC course now. I was questioning myself all the while, what am i doing here? Is this what i really want?

At first, i really wanted to get into OCS, badly, but then, as time flies in SISPEC, i realised, being a specialist, might suit me even more than an officer.

In another 10 week’s time, if everything goes smoothly for me, i will be at that parade square, receiving my 3rd Sergeant rank.

Alot people might think that, the 3rd Sergeant path for Infantry, (BSLC, ASLC) is easy, but in fact, do you guys really know how much shit and hell we go thru to get to there? So, at least, give some respect to those Sergeants & Officers out there, when you have no ideas and clue how much we endure and suffered along the way in command schools.

To my two 7yrs of friends, Yanzhang & Kevin, enlisting on this Thursday & Friday respectively, enjoy your last week as a civilian and i hope to see you guys do well in army.

Don’t ever give up on anything that you think you can’t do it, always believe in yourself and even exceed your own limits. Even a simple 2.4km run, is all about mindset, and your fighting spirit, not your physical limits. Don’t be affected by peer pressure, the temptation to get Out Of course. Aim to get into command school, OCS/SISPEC, for life inside there, will definitely change yours 2yrs in army life.

All the best bros, and hope to see you guys POP few months later on that parade square.

It will soon become a daily routine/thing in our next few months of course, and getting OOC seems a solution to get out of ASLC to most. But it will never occured to me, that i would wanna OOC (out of course) myself from ASLC. For what? I see no point keng-ing all the way to go out Out Of Course and get posted to other units. Some people are just being naive, thinking that when you OOC, you will get posted to Admin spec or other unit spec. But, it’s wrong. What do you gain from this? In army, everything is the same, it’s just that how you spent that 2yrs wisely in army.

Either you suck thumb carry on and endure these 13weeks having gone thru BMT and BSLC and become a 3rd Sergeant getting good payouts and privileges, or become a man for the rest of the NS life, listening to others.

In less than 6 hour’s time, we be booking in again, and doing the same thing over and over again, but this time round, well, more tougher and fiercer.

On the other hand, i should be thankful our batch is the lucky one that has block leave applied for us, for a good break.

It’s time to get things done and over with, for the next 10 weeks in camp, and 3 weeks in TW.

Time flies fast, and soon, I know i’ll be in that parade, receiving the 3 stripes, just like what my seniors and other friends did so.

Went out with Germaine to Vivo, caught 17 again and had sushi tei.

Thou was a old movie, but i think the storyline and plot was good, and it reminds of myself when i was 17.
It just brings back alot memories for me.

That silly girl, she really needs a good break from her work, which her boss apparently giving her alot pressure.

Was supposed to go cruise again with dad and mum, but apparently, i rejected them. Was too bored out at sea, will make me think even more, and putting your lovely-out-of-love-sister at home ain;t a good thing to do, so, i would rather stay home and accompany her.

Marching the 28km Graduation March is a big challenge, adding on the extra 4km from the previous BMT 24km route march. The first 12 km terrain was still ok, except for the remaining 16km, which was hell.

With extra load on the field pack & LBV, a rifle laying rest on my arms, adding on to the pain is my extra abbrasions on both my thighs and a small water bubble on my foot.

Yet, i still have to keep fighting on, pull myself, and walk finish this 28km.

Now, wheres’ the fighting spirit i used to motivate myself and fight on?

Anyway, got posted to ASLC ( Advanced Section Leader’s Course) with 3 ex-Hawk platoon mates, Bani, Ahmad & Dave, 30 Bravo platoon mates to Hotel company. Sigh

Time to check in this hotel? I doubt so, haha. Heard this is one of the shiong-est company in ASLC/SISPEC, and with this 13 weeks long journey to embark on, i’m afraid it will be 13 weeks of hell for us.

Hope things will go as it is, and we will go to Taiwan together during the last 3 weeks training as a platoon, as a section.

These 5 months in army taught me sth, ‘the friends you made jn army, will be the ones that will go all the way with you in life. ”

Finally, its the last week of our 8 weeks BSLC course. And the week after, if i got posted to ASLC ( Advanced Section Leader Course), well, happy, cos’ we would have a 10 day break before reporting. But kena posted to other units, sian, might not even have such a long break. :((

Thru these 8 weeks in BSLC, not only i’ve made quite a number of close and good friends, i also learnt one thing, that is the determination and fighting spirit within each individuality.

There’s a saying, “When there’s a will, there’s a way. ”

Always, don’t give up, no matter how hard and tough the training might seems, at the end of the day, its the amount of sweat and hardwork put in to produce the result, and the joy in overcoming it.

And because of this fighting spirit that goes berserk within us, we will realise that we can do things that, we normally couldn’t do and to unleash the inner spirit hiding inside.

I’m glad that i have came so far, and will keep fightin on, to the day i get my 3 stripe rank on my uniform, the 3rd Sergeant rank..

Friday 08th May

Friday was nightmare, when our bookout was so late that, i reached home nearly close to 11pm.

Straight away went for fetch my mum back from Gong Hui and then went out again to fetch W to binghuan’s early birthday party at Grand CV Somerset hotel next to Heeren.

Was hilarious, when we couldn’t find our way, and have to keep turning round and round to get to the actual place.

Anyway, reached home back at 4.30am and off to a deep sleep ..

Woke up pretty late around 1pm +, fetch mum to Woodlands Checkpoint for lunch, wow, i swear i ate quite alot unhealthy food that meal.

This whole weekend, merely did nothing but staying home and watching movies + games.

Oh, anyway Mum’s going to change a car soon. So we went to Kah Motors Showroom at Ubi on Saturday to see the prices and models.

Currently, dad’s considering between Honda Stream and Kia Magentis.

But then mum’s considering between Honda Civic, Mazda 3 and Toyota Altis.

How leh? There’s always an issue when comes to choosing a car, when our parents cannot decide well.
LOL.

In the end, its the kids that benefit. Cos no matter what car they buy, i still get to drive ;x
hehehehe.

Dad says he will wait for Wednesday 06/05 new car price listing + coe prices to be released then make a decision.

Anyway, next week book in will be hell. My week 7 of BSLC, 1 whole day navigation til midnight, followed by 3 days 2 night Field camp again (showdown of what we have learnt throughout the courses), then followed by last SOC rundown on Friday.

Sure next weekend book out, I’ll be much more slimmer , fitter cos’ i don’t eat combat rations ;x

Thursday 09th April

It was the first time, we booked out so early, in BSLC. 6pm, and we are out, waiting for bus already.

Some of us, went to Jurong Point for Ajisen Ramen for dinner, and later which, went to play DOTA at a nearby lan shop. It was kinda fun, doing something with my platoon mates outside of camp, and hanging around.

Played til around 11pm, and headed to Nerd’s house for mahjong. Sigh. If not because a close buddy of mine is leaving for Taiwan for 3 weeks for his overseas expedition, i would not have wanna play, knowing the consequences of it.

But luckily, luck seems to be on me this time round, i won a lucky $2.

Friday 10th April

When i went home after mahjong, i din slept a wink, and straight away bathe, and headed to Lim Chu Kang Cemmetry with family to ‘visit’ Grandmother at 6am. -.-

I was so freaking tired, that anywhere in the cemetry, i just merely sat down, and slept.. LOL.

Afterwhich, headed back home, and next thing i know, me and my sister and my lil brother, straight drop dead on our beds and we practically slept til the next day…

Can see how tired we were now.. Imagine going to the cemetry early in the morning around 6am.

Saturday 11th April

Woke up around 9am plus by my mum, to be asked to accompany my dad to do some stuffs.

Collected NTUC $100 voucher from Panasonic, the free gift from the 37′ LCD tv we bought that day at Harvey Norman, and collected back the BMB DVD system which my dad sent for repair that day.

Dropped by Tampines mall, having the idea of finding the Dynasty Warrior 6 for my xbox 360, in the end, saw a fabulous deal of Canon IXUS 80, which i already wanted to buy during that time IT Show but too many people, and straight away ring up SPY and buy 2 at a go.

I think the sales person super happy, early in the morning, dun need to serve me, straight away i buy 2 cameras from him lol.

Got Silver for IPPT yesterday, which means an additional $100 to my this month pay

Anyway, this week, some things happened in camp.

1. My rifle was stunned by the Sergeant Major while we were out for lessons when he came up to our bunk and take those rifles out from our cupboards that was not locked.

2. My map was the only thing that was stunned by the Sergeant Major during First Parade on a random Area Check up in my bunk.

Because of this two things that happened. I had to sign two extra duties.

That’s also the reason why I’m blogging now, instead of tmr, which I have book in early morning 7.30am to do my Deputy Company Orderly Sergeant DCOS duty.

While the rest can book in at 8pm, I had to book in 12 hours earlier

Another extra will be served on 25th April.

I dunno why that, as I’m approaching my 21st birthday this year, alot of bad things/luck happened to me. Mahjong this year, was never a win in overall, One cruise trip that can lost $600+ & only 2 weeks in SISPEC i can get 2 extras.

Seriously, I’m demoralised by all the bad things that are happening/happened to me. I just wish to tide over all these shit and pray that everything goes smoothly man..

Anyway, this week will be a short one as coming Friday is a Labour Day, and I hope during Wednesday Live Firing nothing will happen to me.

Training wise, is kinda packed, with alot of events line up for us in the next 7 weeks of course. And also, to add on, food here is as fantastic as outside food. Those that ate before in Cookhouse 1 in Pasir Laba Camp knows what I’m talking about. Hehe.

We even can order Macdonalds , KFC , Pizzahut etc. from outside. Tell more how great our life can be. Haha. I know in the next few week, when we go chiong sua, training will be tough, but for the 3rd SGT rank, I’ll keep motivate myself to do it and don’t give up.

I been considering of applying for Medic Specialist after BSLC ends. my army friends, any advices? o.o

Saturday 28th March

Book out at around 10am plus, becos of the stupid RT, which in sad case, I pass only my IPPT during the IPPT CAT test conducted on Tuesday. 4cm to Silver again. !!!! Damn Standing Broad Jump. How i wish at times, SAF take out SBJ, den I can might even have a high chance to get Gold

Reached home and watched Gossip Girls 2 esp 18 & 19. Later on, went out with sister, bing & Jeff.

Headed to Bugis first, in search for my new bag, and then went to the new Illuma Shopping Centre just opp. Bugis Junction, which happened to open on that day. And there’s a promotion going on right now, $6 for movie tickets all day long including weekends, and $2 for a popcorn set at the Film Garde Threatre.

After deciding for some time what to watch, we decided on this movie.

This horror movie not bad thou, talks about the twins, the devil, etc. Kinda scary in some scenes, when the little boy just pop out . But throughout the whole movie, I been muttering, Sexayyy, Sexayy to W & J, cos the female lead actress is really sexayyy . LOL. . even by seeing the poster, you already know she’s sexayy, right?

But it’s kinda sad in the end that her boyfriend died, just to exorcise the haunting and the devil thats’ pursuing her and her bloodline for generations.

Later which, walked around in Bugis, and after Bing departed back Woodlands to buy his new found interest toy, me and my sister went to Town for some shopping.

Oh, during my meeting with Bing all the while, we weere talking about army stuffs most of the time, and my sister was like telling J, “next time , pls spare me from all these .. ” LOL.

Nvm, when we head to Town, met saw Louis at Far East Sq. The moment we talked, is all about army things again. This time round, I noticed my sister ‘ eyes , which were giving the army-stuffs-again expression. Was kinda funny, and when Louis left, she finally asked me, whats an Infantry?

Explained to her, and told her in a war, what unit usually goes in first etc. And she’s like. so fascinated, and yet she still give me the army-stuffs-again expression. LOL.

I always have the feeling that, I will see someone familiar when in town, and it really happens.
Saw Germaine at escalator when heading to Far East, and Saw my ex platoon mate Yuzhe at Wisma..

Anyw, wanted to buy the AX belt one, but its like $139, see the price also feel sian. Don’t wish to splurge so much on a belt, in the end, never buy any belts at all. Just bought merely a pair of shoe, and bought my lil brother a new Ripcurl school bag at Heeren.

Headed home after that and call it a day..

Woke up at 2pm plus, packed bag and later booking in 2100. Sibei sian, the thought of booking in really sucks man. Sigh, just hope this 2 years past fast…

During my trip this time round, alot things happened.

- Got this fuckin’ funneh Indian waiter, that I don’t why, my aura seems to attract so much, that whenever I comes in this fine dining restaurant known as Bella Vista. He will keep disturbing me, by asking me, “Sir, you are cold is it? You need a blanket, or a pillow? ” <– LOL . or he will ask me, “Sir, you don’t disturb others, you wan boyfriend, I intro you… ” I was like WTF LOL.

- Most happening thing, my dearest sister helped my dad won SGD$1250.00 by opening 4 of a kind in Carribean Stud Poker, or also know as Pairs’ game. Four 4 and One 2. Power right?

- Most upset thing is that, i just realised, this year, i shouldn’t be gambling at all. I lost a massive $660/= onboard casino, in whatever games i played, Casino War, Pontoon, Jackpot, Roulette.. -.- Argg..

- Jeffery bought Wendy Marley the dog.

- We din went down to Penang this time round, however stay onboard.

- Ben ate alot in Phuket, Tom Yam, Thai Meatballs, Sausages, Mix Beef Soup, alot more .. godamn feel fat now Time to train more !

- Cruise was fun, with my sister of course.

- Oh, first time going cruise with my sister. Memorable.

- Star Cruises going to be sold as according to Mom, to fund the coming Casino in Singapore.

- No more Cruise trips in the future I supposed.

- However, Ben would love to go cruise one day after ORD with friends and FGF.

And that marks the end of my BMT journey, and awaiting in front of me is another chapter of my NS life that’s waiting to unfold itself.

The last challenge in BMT, the 24km Route March was indeed a hard one. Marching from 11pm til the next morning 6.30am, ain’t an easy thing, especially the first 16km route, i was like blind walking all the way.

Seriously, the 24km route march was a killer, but whats compared to the past few months of training we had.

And after the 24km route march was our Pass Out Parade. Super tired, as we had no rest after the 24km march, we had to proceed to the parade square where our parents are waiting for us.

I’m glad that dad and mum came, and i’m happy that dad could make it, despite he had a overseas meeting with his client @ Thailand; he postpone the trip and fly off straight after my POP. I love you , dad. You are the best in our eyes.

And along my way in these 3 months, I have met a few good friends, that i knew our friendships will last along the years.

Along with me who enlisted on the same date with me, Same Platoon, Same Section, Same Bed but different Company is KC.

Hope to see you in the same unit in the future. Kudos

Anyway, what are my final thoughts?

In BMT, i just believed that everyone are the same, despite physically and mentally. We just need to pull each other through, be discliplined and adapting to the regiment and the military lifestyle. I would say, at start, it ain’t an easy thing for me to do, but soon, few weeks after enlisting, everything just get in place.

To my friends that are waiting to be enlisted, don’t care what the rest said about BMT. It is just a conversion process for us, from civilian life to military life. Whatever it is, listen to orders at all times, and be who you are. Don’t try to wayang, or chao geng, else your life inside wouldn’t be a nice one.

Training wise, no matter how tough it is, keep telling yourself, you can do it. It’s all in the head, not your physical strength. If our parents, our grandparents can do it, why can’t we? Do your best, and aim for command schools after BMT.

Wednesday 11th March

Straight away after POP, dad drove us home and headed to airport to catch his flight to meet his client.

For me, the first thing, of course is the bed. Imagine marching thru the night, and not resting after that and had to do our Pass out parade. And I nearly ‘ pass out’ during the parade man. -.-

The next thing i knew i woke up around 11pm, and something bad happened to my sister. I wouldn’t elaborate more on that, but i hope justice will be done.

Woke up already, accompanied her to Admiralty Police Station to make a report, and by the time the officer finished interviewing her and we are back home again, it was 2am already..

time to fall into deep sleep again..

Thursday 12th March

Woke up pretty early in the morning, drove to market with mum and ate breakfast.

Then U-Turn back home and fetch J & W to Suntec for work @ IT Show 2009.

Later which, drove to Alexandra Road to LG Service centre and serviced the LG Viewty that my dear sister make spoilt. Damn.. By that time, I’m pretty tired again..

The next thing i knew, okay, i took AYE(Tuas) and drove along the way, with shagness and tiredness in my eyes, I miss the exit for PIE.

ROAR.

Nevermind, i drove all the way down, and nearly went to Tuas Checkpoint -.- Godamn blur lol.

Exit from Cooporation Road and took another detour back to AYE highway and finally found PIE exit again.

Total i spent 1.5hours since exiting from Alexandra road to reaching home -.-

Watched Twilight online. Not a bad movie thou I think the movie will have a sequel.

Meanwhile yanzhang came over, and watched the movie halfway with me, and later that went downstairs and play L4D.

After that, went to fetch my sister and J and drove them home.

Friday 13th March

Friday the 13th, yeah, indeed not a good day to be. Anyway, my day was still okay.

Fetch mum to Woodlands Checkpoint to have lunch and settle her stuffs, and then went to IT Show with Billy, Dave, JunQing & Jeremy.

Bought a new keyboard cos’ my computer current keyboard chui already.

Billy bought the latest Ipod touch 2nd gen one with speakers 16gb for $475. not a bad deal thou.

After dinner, JunQing, Jeremy(left before dinner) & Dave left. Which left me and billy. After walking around for awhile, bought a Zara Basic top, fucking bored, went to Arcade to relive our childhood memories.

Due to the incident, after Billy left, i went to convention centre and waited for my sister and go home together with her.

I think after the incident, i became more protective of my sister and sending her to and fro work nowadays, cos’ i wouldn’t want history repeating itself again.

Today, Saturday 14th March

Woke up pretty late just now around 11pm, and slacked around in the house.

Now waiting to go IT Show again with Dad, cos’ he wanna get a 37 inch LCD TV for the living room, and me getting a Canon IXUS digi camera later.

At night planned activities would be dinner with Felix, Estee, Liting, Wl & Yz @ Town and heading to DBL O later.

I’m still thinking of whether to head to DBL O later, for tomorrow I’ll be out of town for 4 days to cruise with family & Jeff to Phuket/Penang.

Friday 06th March

Last minute KTV with KC, JM, Leona, Ran, Lana, Zhixian & Kenneth @ Teo Heng, Katong Shopping Centre.

Pretty much fun, when you try to sing the songs with an ‘Ah Du 阿杜’ voice(Ben), and a super-duper blocked nose(KC). haha

Oh, and there is a mini accident, when ZX and KC started throwing mics at each other, til two of them, their teeth being chipped off. KC’s one was the worse . HAHA. poor KC with teeth chipped off before POP try not to smile during POP, kc. It won’t look good LOL

After which, headed to The Cathay, and watched Push.

The movie is just like another Shoot’ Em Up & Wanted.

Why is that so? Lol. Cos’ the movie is about things that will never ever occur in real life, where people with enhanced special abilities wanting to hunt each other down and absuing their power too.

Saturday 07th March

Woke up pretty late, 3pm + , watched two movies, Step Up 2 The Streets & Street Fighter.

Yeah, i know both are pretty old movies, but never watched before, so just watched it @ Tom365.com lor. Afternoon was pretty boring too.

Around evening, went downstairs to meet weilong, where he bring go play the latest in game, L4D, Left 4 Dead.

Kinda like CS like that the movement gameplay, just that, these 4 players, have to protect each other, killed all the zombies and the mini-bosses in each level.

Shall play it again on my next bookout . Any L4D players?

Anyway, during my last PC interview with Sir Z, he asked me, how i feel about the platoon.

Basically, i tell him what i really felt that, that everyone has gone thru much shit and suffering, to come to the day we POP, 11th March, and that the platoon is very cooperative with one another even better than before.

Man, when the day after I POP, i know i really will miss some of the cocksters/jokers in my platoon, having stayed with them for 3 months under the same roof, one couldn’t possibly know nothing about one another.

Life is like that, some day in life, there will be parting.

Yesterday, Friday 28th February

Even thou our 16km route march ends on Friday 7+, our OC die die still dun want let us book out, say what, must let us rest more den book out -.-

Mum & Dad came to pick me up as usual, went to Maxwell Hawker Centre ate some dim sums for breakfast, then head home to rest. .

And oh, my sister had her first Driving lesson, i remember calling her before her driving lesson, and she asked me alot of questions regard to driving.

And i did all i can by sharing my knowledge with her, telling her the rights and the wrongs, and i feel proud as a brother to her, being able to pass down things to her.

Sleep sleep sleep til 3+ pm, then went out with Germaine to AMK Hub for movie.

This movie, simply is a heartwarming show. I would strongly recommend this movie to those dog owners especially. Why is it so?

The story starts with this two loving married couple, Jennifer Aniston ( Jennifer Grogan) & Owen Wilson (John Grogan) who wants to get a dog to spend their life with. Little did they know, that this Labrador Retriever, is a mischief maker, and is more than any troublemaker dog in the streets.

But as their story revolves to when the couple had their first baby to the last baby, the story indeed shows how ‘busy’ and stress it can be when you have to take care of a hyperactive dog and your newborn babies at the same time.

And til the last part when Marley had nearly lived for more than a decade with them, and when it passes away, the realization comes.

This movie is really damn good, long time never caught such a good movie already. 4.5/5

Yesterday watched A Walk To Remember online. A very nice and touching story.

A love story, that taught us to cherish the people around us, and making full use of the time left. It’s kinda sad that the story had to end like that, and particularly, i love the quote from the movie, “Love is everywhere, you cannot see it, but you can feel it. ”

Anyway, finally saw nonsense girl online, and had a short chat with her. feels so happy, when I’m chatting with her, thou we are far apart in each side of the world.

By the way, me and my sister, have finally decided to get our own dog, for the next 10 years, there will be an extra addition to the family, I’m not talking about J.

With our Graduation Parade coming soon, things are heating up.

First we had to learn our Infantry song, Infantry roar, and stay under the sun for 15mins each day with FBO, to prepare for our POP parade.

And this week, definitely will be one of the important week in BMT, with live firing starting tomorrow and ending wednesday, and our IPPT (last) & SOC (last) all this week. It’ll definitely be a xiong week, and no matter what, I’ll keep pushing myself to the ending line for best timing.

Friday 13th January

It’s Friday the 13th again.

Anyway, I’m glad that I passed my IPPT to bookout on Friday, for those failed IPPT have to stay back for Remedial Training til Saturday noon. And can you believe that, only 38 recruits out of 150 book out this time round? Imagine having the whole ferry to us. haha.

Friday was a waste, was pretty tired when I reached home, around 8, thou I bookout at 6 already. And reaching home to sleep seems a happy thing to think of, not til when Weilong Edwin they all smsed to club.

Was damn tired, due to the day’s training before bookout, and lazily pulled myself out of the bed, get changed and head down to meet them( weilong edwin and friends) with yanzhang @ Zouk.

I swear this was the night, the first time, I don’t care how much $ i wasted, just to go home, after like an hour inside Zouk.

First thing, I was already super super tired. When i reached the club entrance, I don’t even feel like going, but if I don’t go, sure got thing happened later, don’t wanna elaborate much.

Second, the music that night for Zouk was trance. OMFG. Trance leh. Sorry ah Trance genre lovers, but I’m not a fan of Trance music. I can’t stand dancing to the tune of Trance for like , 4 hours?

I left the club at 1.30am, after entering at 12.30am, cabbed home alone, and heading for my bed..

Oh, did i mentioned, J came to our house last night late, before i head out to Zouk, to give my sister a wonderful surprise?

14 roses in a bouquet that costs the price of a Ralph Lauren Polo tee with the big horse one and one Sovii Titus watch that cost around the same price too.

Sometimes, J is really a good boyfriend, (no i’m not gay), but I keep trying to tell my sister, to treasure this ‘precious’ of hers, for he is too good for her, and she is too wonderful for him, vice - versa.

Anyway, around 6pm+ headed to meet them @ Amk Hub, and Jeff decided to drive to Parkway Parade for some steamboat delights that he likes.

At first, I thought it was some steamboat buffet, but in fact, was those like of Ala-Carte Steamboat. Freaking expensive i tell you.

The only thing nice was the soup, the Tom Yam base soup, the chicken fillets & the live prawns. The rest was normal.

And we ate to a massive amount of $115, just for steamboat, for 3. Imagine one dish cost how much.

After the steamboat, headed to meet KC, Zhixian, JM & Leona @ Esplanade Ichiban Boshi.

No, i din ate second round, but there was an inside joke upon my arrival. Pretty funny, and even hilarious when I went do it.

Afterwhich, Went for a walk at Esplanade, and pausing at the Waterfront Threatre to hear a lady on the stage singing the song ‘ Superwoman’ , the original and english version of the Superwoman by Cao - Ge.

It was wonderful and voice was awesome, plus the ambience at that point of time, nothing can beat a good V Day outing for those lovers.

At that point of time, only one person in my mind came across to me, and I was thinking of the times I spent with her, thou it was short, but it was sweet enough, at least, to keep smiling in my heart. 私はどうも欠場。

My Valentine’s ‘outings’ was still not over.

Upon heading home, Alouis, Kenneth & WL was waiting at my house for mahjong. LOL. we started at 12+ and ended at 7+. Super duper tired lah. Sighh..

Today, Sunday 15th February

Woke up by my sister at 1+, and went to cook some noodles for brunch.

Booking in pretty early today, 4.55pm, damn sian. Cannot late again already, my name was in the Punishment List for last week, and I haven clear my punishment, Guard Duty or Confinement, whatever it is, I don’t care..

I just want to sleep and rest my over-clocked body…

After bookout, dad came to pick up me as usual with mum & wei, and headed to Changi General Hospital straight.

Headed to Bedok 85 Market and had some noodles, Wu Xiang, Chicken Wings, Peanuts Soup .. First decent meal since the combat ration lol.

Went to pick up sister and her friend Zi fu and headed home .

Woke up around 10+ this morning, by our parents, to go to temple to pray, cos this year, Horse, Dragon, and i think Dog and Rooster are in the Offended-Celestial-Animals list. at Liang Shan Shuang Lin Monastery @ Toa Payoh.

Headed to Chinatown later, to lao Yu-Sheng, and had some dim sums for lunch.

While Mum headed to play mj with her friends fetched by my dad, me and WendyT go walk walk around Chinatown.

My sister, looking at her face, and how excited she was, when walking around Chinatown, makes me feel happy and proud as her brother. Dunno why LOL.

Probably the fact that she told me J dun bring her to such places and shop, eat and walk one.

And we even camwhored at Chinatown like some freakin’ tourists haha.

After that, she headed to J’s house while i went back home and sleep. Super tired to think and do anything.

Here i am, just woke up from my sleep an hour ago, had Chicken Rice for dinner, drank some Ginseng Tea, and blogging this post soon.

The reason, why i keep all this bookout posts, so that, when I had the time to look back one day, I will see how i spent my bookout days doing what and what, and what kind of time management person I am.

In a few day’s time, we will be entering the fewest days of a month, February. This month, i guess we will be expecting more SOC & BCCT lessons, our SIT test coming this week, and most importantly our live firing range.

Talking about SIT test, alot of my friends said that it is very important and crucial if you want to get into command schools. It is just another mini field camp, but however, even our sergeant said it will be tiring than field camp, cos of the various missions we have to do. So, all the best to me this coming SIT test.

Just hope to get good peer appraisals and know what to do when the time comes in situations…

Friday 30th January

Booked out and reached pasir ris damn late. Around 9pm if i’m not wrong.

Cab home with Irwin & Ravin and after settling my stuffs, bathe and went out to meet my campmates for supper @ Chomp Chomp.

It’s our first meeting outside camp and it’s rather rare; Robbie, Yuzhe, Junqing, Jaya, Jeremy, Leslie, Teo, Jovian & me. Luckily, Jaya and Jovian drove, so it’s kinda convenient when we going home back, especially one bunch of them live in the East and the rest live in the North & Central area.

As the first sighting of Chomp Chomp appears in my eyes, i was being reminded of you once again, and the times i would drove to your house or drove you home. 3 more months before i can see you again.. );

Reached home around 3am, thanks to a sleepy Jaya drove me back. He’s the funniest & the best thing that ever happened to our Platoon, if without him, i think our army life will be fucking boring and sian. haha.

Saturday 31st January

I remember the first thing i wake up this morning, is asking my sister, “Have you eaten? ”

Then the first reply she give me is, “You better dun ask me get food for you, go buy yourself! ”

LOL. I merely wanted to help her get food, and she scolded at me.

Anyway, went down to get some Yong Tau Foo items, Slices of Beef, Chicken Drumsticks & Yee Mees downstairs Shop N Save and cooked our lunch.

Watched the Harlem Yu’s Chinese New Year Eve 2009 Variety Show on TV, super funny, with those stars like 5566, Genie Zhuo 卓文萱 & some other not famous one playing the sing-along-lyrics game on the TV.
They have to sing people’s song, which they might not know, and get the lyrics correctly. Kinda funny when you see they sing offtune and anyhow make up the lyrics.

I just realise how much i miss TV shows too.

Anyway, went to J8 with Jeff & sis around 7 to catch the Wedding Game.

I dunno why this movie ratings are good, but to me and my sister, we think that the storyline and plot is kinda cock up, alot loopholes in the movie. If this movie were to film by other stars, i bet no one will wanna watch.

In fact, its pretty funny when you see Christopher Lee & Fann Wong quarrellign in the movie, but both of them are really hot, thats the only thing i like about the movie. With Christopher’s charisma & Fann’s pure sweetness, any movie can be make nice i guess.

Bought another singlet from Cotton On Adult. & my sis bought me a bermudas that cost $39.90 from CO too. How sweet of her. Thank you sister.

Afterwhich, we went down basement floor, and sat down at one desert shop, and ate some desert and finger food, and chatted for quite some time. It’s really hard to find time to talk to your own sister after you get into army, when you’re so packed most of the time, and durin bookout days, one might even dun wanna go out and stay at home and rest.

I’m sure by the time when we march our 24km road march, and finally to the next day POP, everyone’s eyes will be filled with tears and joy. Thru this field camp(last week), more friendships were bonded, the whole platoon ’s spirit were more strengthened now, the weakers getting stronger and confident. I hope for this to go on, to the day we pass out as a recruit.

Talking about my physical limits, i think i ought to give myself a clap for improving alot, and not missing any military training and physical lessons.

My first IPPT results:

Chin Ups: 10 (4 points)
Sit Ups: 40 (5 points)
Shuttle run: 10.0sec (5 points)
Standing Broad Jump: 218cm (2 points)
2.4km run: 12.38min (1 point - failed)

Overall: 17 points, FAIL.

wee. looking at the results, i’m half satisfied with my achievement, especially for chin ups and 2.4km run. major improvement. but then, i really hope i can jump more, like a rabbit, to 225cm for silver. the recent ippt results is only 4cm of SBJ short to Silver man.

Can anyone teach me how to jump?

In fact, Chinese New Year is not really of a big event to me anymore, its more like another normal public holidays to me.

Did i mention that last year my parents went cruise since Chinese New Year Eve til Chinese New Year Day 2 and left me at home alone?

Sigh. My parents just dun like go visiting/pai nian to my those relatives, dunno why. And the time i get to mingled with my cousins are jsut getting lesser. Hardly met them too. I only know Vincent in Navy, Justin in Police and Ben in Army . LOL. . 3 different forces, and i still remember we used to play Power Rangers in action in the past together, now we are like growing up already.

After book out, dad and mum came and fetch me to Chinatown, wanted to eat some yu-sheng first, but the stalls were closed.

Woke up around 2+ i think, too tired to think. in the evening, went out to meet Long, Yz, Eve, Kiat & Ed for steamboat @ Bugis.

Went to Nerd’s house as usual for SMS til morning…

25th January, Sunday, Chinese New Year Eve

Chinese New Year Eve.. The day usually i won’t go out and spend time at home instead, be a filial son ;x
Woke up til noon like that, help out with parents chores, then had steamboat for dinner again.

But the soup is tasy cos’ me and my sis thought for a ingenius way of makign the steamboat soup nicer, putting the leftover prawn ’s heads into the soup , and mixing the abalone ’s leftover sauce in the can into the soup. Yumm yumm..

See, when me and my sister gets to work, even the nastiest soup also can turn tastiest. LOL.

Oh, and that night, after dinner, had a 2hour mahjong session with parents & jeffery. It was bad man. I lost $80 just that 1 and a half round of mahjong. @#$@#$@ .

But as what kiat says, when my luck is not good here, it means my luck is good somewhere else. I do believe in that . Not everyone is forever lucky in everything you do, in life, luck is being balanced every part of your life things you do etc.

After mahjong, around 12.30am+ , went to Sembawang Fortune of God temple to collect ‘luck’ from the Fortune of God by burning a ownself-bring-joss-sticks at that temple and bringing it back home. My parents always practise this tradition, and it really helps i guess. But for me, will i still ever carry down this tradition, i dunno . .. LOL

26th January, Monday, Chinese New Year Day 1

Yeah.. Chinese New Year Day 1… Weee. its great that you wake up to this day to know you are collecting ang bao.. haha.

But before i had my lunch, Jeffery already arrived at our house, due to Mom’s special order to ask him to go to pai nian with our relatives too. It was fun for me and my sis meeting our cousins and relatives after a year’s time, yeah, not that long, 365 days, but still, it’s better to meet at least once a year, to keep in touch and update one another.

And, the worst nightmare came. LOL.

No one expect Jeffery to play that big when we were playing some poker games. My cousins play $1, 2 the most $5, Jeffery play $30. Scary shit. Wendytoh , please control your boyfriend, before the day he becomes a full time gambler LOL.

Went out later in the evening to meet up with Kiat & Eve and catch the movie, Love Matters.

Basically, the movie is just another gigs by Jack Neo’s comedian actors, storyline not that meaningful, thou its about love.

Some hilarious scenes are the Mark Lee playing as a Thailand gigolo, HAHA, that was funny that scene, and the Lai Ming (Money Not enough 2, the mother, remember, ” Have you eaten? “) and the son of Henry Thia singing “The Virgin Bird that never comes back”.

I would rate the movie 4/5, probably cos’ I’m a fan of Jack Neo’s movie.

After movie, had some conflicts with the clique, left, and went to meet with KC and the rest.

Sang Kbox @ Marina Square that midnight. Was damn fun, thou i slept from 3am onwards. haha.
Oh, and midnight there was a challenge posted by the KBox duty manager for that day for all the room, to drink a mug of beer fastest using a straw.

Reached home also around morning 5+, which is usually the time we woke up in army to do our reveile… …

27th January, Tuesday, Chinese New Year Day 2

Simply just sleep my day and dun feel like going anywhere after the last night tiredness.

28th January, Wednesday, Chinese New Year Day 3, Book in day

It just sucks to know that you’re waking up in the early morning to book in, sigh. Woke up, and went to Bugis Guan Yin Temple to pray with my parents; I’ve a handgrenade live throw on Friday, so my parents want me to go do some praying.

After visiting temple and having some heavy breakfast, an hour later, i just find myself back in the familiar ferry again..

Sigh, that’s life for now. Army is boring by now, but no matter what one had to do, always have to face it with a positive attitude, or else, one’s life won’t be happy for this 2 years.

Went off at 6+ to meet Samuel, Laura, Rui Heng, Aik Seng & Alex @ Marina Sq, had a talk with them, and realised all of them had already POP and into unit . OMG

Later then, met up with KC, Leona and Jia ming for movie Red Cliff 2 @ Plaza Sing.

Totally speechless about this movie part 2. For those who watched before part 1, will understand about what I’m talking about. The war strategies, the formations, the smart intelligence ways of Zhu Ge Liang & Zhou Yu’s plot, and some small jokes of Zhu Ge Liang, simply rocks the movie. A MUST WATCH MOVIE . Even my indian bunk mate Ravin also watches it.

A bad new year to start off huh?

1st January 2009:

Reached home at 6am, after waiting for cab for like 2hours ? All Taxi Booking Hotlines were engaged and there were hardly any cab aavailable.

Slept til 5+ , and went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital with my parents to check up on my left toe and get some sorethroat, flu & cough medicine.

Medical Officer said it was an ingrown toe nail inside the flesh thats causing the abnormal lump at the left toe.
He encourage me to go operation, but I do not wanna to OOC (Out Of Course), so I guess I’ll have to bear with the pain for the next 10 weeks and see how it goes.

Bad things do happened at times, and are unavoidable. One case is my bunk mate Wesly who broke his wrist at the 6th day by slipping on a wet corridor, and was now pending for Down-Pes and new vocation already.

Later after that went to Toa Payoh one Kopitiam eat Zhi Cha, damn nice man. My parents are just too good in finding those good food.

2nd January 2009

Slept quite alot, due to the alot dosage of the medicines prescriped. Wake up in half-drowzy condition, walk here walk there in living room, then fetched my little brother to tuition.

And i think that was ages since i last fetched Calvin to tuition man. I think im not spending enough time with my siblings, and I think my next bookout, i should ought to spend more time with them.

Den suddenly i woke up at 1am.

I’m sure most of us have been to this chalet, and i think i been to it like nearly 4 5 times already? Including me, my sister’s, some other friend’s birthday celebrations there. Good ideal location, which is near to Downtown East and Pasir Ris Park.

And til now, everything is usually ‘okays’, except for the fact that in the central of Pasir Ris Park, there is this maze, which is being warned that at night we avoid entering it. There are rumors of couples wandering into the maze and get lost in it, or somehow, I would define as, geting into another dimension. The Entrance of the maze looks creepy at night, so I guess, at times, our curiosity will lead to troubles.

Oh, and its rumored that Block B/A is haunted, that’s why they don’t rent out Block B/A.

Another common and cheap chalets in Singapore, Costa Sands Downtown East. Comes with also DVD player in the room, you sure can enjoy some great movies with your friends in the chalet.

For this chalet, I’ve only been to it once, and I dun recall anything spooky about this chalet, except for the fact that, I dunno is true or not, that there’s one whole block of chalet, near to Escape Theme Park, that area, is being locked out too, due to some reasons.

This chalet I’ve never been before, and I would love to try out of these days. And there’s one year when the Chinese Newspaper, Xin Min Wan Bao, wrote an article that this chalet was super cheap, cause it was haunted. And no one dares to stay there.

Any daring ones wanna try out a night with me there?

Ratings I would not give for this chalet cos’ I’ve never been to there before.

The new one I haven never stay before, and i doubt its just some renovation from the old Costa Sands Resort, East Coast park. This chalet looks very alike to the structure interior and exterior of Costa Sands, Pasir Ris. Good thing about this chalet it is just beside East Coast Park, the perfect location for a getaway near a beach side.

Anything weird about this chalet i heard about, no leh. Til now, its the most ‘cleanest’ chalet i been to, no such stories. Probably one day i will create legend there. Hahas.

Being out of the shows, make one feel as if you have grown up from all the shows. As I can’t commit again myself for the next show anymore, due to the fact that I’m enlisting soon, i doubt during these 2 years, i won’t be able to work for it shows or even part time jobs.

I’m twenty, and I’m turning twenty-one in less than a year time. I should wise up, and decide the path of my future.

This movie, I would say, its one of the best dog-featured movie ever, with such a beautiful Golden Retriever so tamed and trained for the movie, the effects couldn’t be better.

The story talks about this young little girl, and her wish to own a dog. due to her loneliness at home; her mum was hospitalised most of the time, her dad as a surgeon doctor operates all the time, spent no time with her.
And as her mum bought her a dog, and told her about the Ten Promises to her dog, the story comes alive.

I wouldn’t elaborate much about the story flow, but just that, this 10 promises to her dog, tells you the true meaning of being a dog owner.

The Second one will be Beverly Hills ChiHuaHua, which I just watched today, with J & W.

This new-released movie is not as disappointing as the movie name & the trailer may looks like. I think for these movie, thou most of the dogs were created using CGI (Computer Generated Image), the visual effects however, were real as it is, from the expressions of the dogs.

It might seems like an adventure movie, a Indiana Chi hua hua, but behind it, there’s a touching love story to teach dog owners to cherish their dogs, and how pity are stray dogs wanting for a owner.

11th September 2008.

If you still remember this date, it’s the date when I first drove you out, the day we went to the Zoo with L & M, to watch Bangkok Dangerous @ Amk Hub with J & W, then to K-pool, then to exploring places, Geylang streets, Changi Village, OCH & the Airport. Its also an important date, cos its the date when your dad approved you to go to France, which I’m really happy for you, that after so much of persuations and hardwork, you finally seeing your hardwork being paid off.

And i remembered, thats also the first time, at Changi Airport T1 Gallery, you lied on my shoulder, when you were feeling tired. At the moment of time, i just hoped, that time would stopped, til the first dawn came out.

11th October 2008

That day, we went out in the night to sing with J & W @ Amk hub til 2am. I remember you are also shy of singing. That was also the first time, i hear you sang officially, not counting the one at my house that one, and also, making a note to notice all of the songs you liked. That was also the time, when i hoped that, we would sing like this, as always.

12th November 2008

We couldn’t went out on 11th Nov , so it would make a perfect 11 on the 3 months, as you had school. On 12th Nov, as promised, i would bring you to food hunt for 11 of your favorite local food, but, due to the time constraint, we only had 4 of them. It is also another date when i rented a car out just for this date. And i know you always told me, girls dun like flowers, thou i know you liked them and i bought for you, the first time, i bought flowers for a girl. And after which, in the drizzling rain, i brought you to the Singapore Flyer, as i know, you would love to go there before you go France, and so did we. Recalling about all the ‘first’ on the day, im sure this little secret between us will become part of my memory. What could i say? sillyness and selfishness was that in my mind.

13th November 2008

I thought everything is okays, when i fetched you and E despite my tiredness to the French Embassy, then back to school. Upon seeing the last smile on your face, you said you would msg me later. And i waited, and waited. Upon returning the car, to the long giddy 161 ride back woodlands, i waited for your sms. . .

til the worst thing came. when you told me, to distant from you, to give up you, to stop pursuiting love for you.

I was shocked, of a sudden.

Reason being, you are giving me false hope, since when? i would really wanna let you know that, loving someone, doesn’t need to be repay back with love or wanting anything in return. I just wanna stay by your side and providing you the best i could. Seeing you happy, makes me happy too.

And, you told me, the people around you thinks that you ‘re hurting K and giving false hope to guys, and them thinking you as a player.

When you texted me all these, have you spared a thought for my feelings? If you told me everything from scratch that happened that made you think in this way, i might tell you that, i understand your situation, and i would swell off in your life.

And if you told me, if you hadn’t any feelings for me, i would withdraw myself, and leave you in your life.

Thou we ain’t a couple, but that doesn’t stop me from pursuiting you right?

And if they are really your friends, then they should respect what you are doing, and let you decide for yourself in your love life, and not be gossiping behind your back, telling you are b**** or sth.

I know that, you care about what your friends said, but to resort to telling me me all these, do you really think its fair for me to hear all these?

I wouldn’t said its fair for me, but i would only said, since i played the game, i should jolly well understand the rules of the game from start. But one thing for sure, I was never wrong about you.

I saw K’s blog too, about moving on, and i thought for a moment, that should i do the same thing?

And i read ur blog this afternoon, realising that, we always chatted current affairs, and not about your feelings. Why is that so? its because, we never had a chance to do so. I would really wanna know about what you are thinking, but you are always diverting the topic, or saying nothing at all.
And why issit that, when it cames to feelings and thoughts, he always get the chance to hear about it, and not about me? Not really once, when you ever told me about how you feel.

I know that, the france visa and trip thing has been driving you and your friends hay-wire, and i did my best to help you if i could, even if driving you guys to the embassy and getting guides/brochures for you.

And i know that, you need some cash for the last month in france, so i did all my best, in making sure you will land up in jobs that i got you, and hoping you can earn as much as you could.

I know you have that bit of feeling for me, and even if that’s small, at least i know, i stand somewhere in a corner of your heart.

And even if waiting for 6 months later, it would all be worth it.

Probably by then, you might really had a caucasian boyfriend, or we might start afresh again if there’s still feelings (:

Oh, yesterday went to Leisure Park @ Kallang with dy
,a big spacious mall with lotsa of entertainment, unique shops but no ppl -.-

It just shows that the location sucks; a 15min walk/5 min bus ride from Kallang MRT Station..

Anyway, watched Butterfly Lovers at their cinema called Film Garde, dine @ Nihon Mura, (not bad thou, kind of new style of ordering food to me), played 2 rounds of bowling and den had desert at Akashabu Japanese.

Nowadays, dating are so expensive man.. just yesterday spent like total $100 for both of us.. =/ is there any places in sg that is cheap and nice? (: leave a comment.

P/S: someone trashed me by 41 points at the 2nd round anyone wanna sign her up the next Remy Ong can leave a comment too.

nothing must to say about today, woke up @ 11am , brought my brother to KFC for a heavy lunch, request for 2 thighs was given :D at least better than MaryBrown’ s yesterday . -.-

Came down the hill at 1+ pm, as usual, steepy slopes, dangerous curves, sudden corners..

 I just realised dad’s really a good driver man.. It’s really not an easy job to drive to and fro Genting Highlands..

Anyway, reached the Submit at 4+ , check-in hotel and watched I Guess I Guess I Guess Guess Guess on tv.. nothing much to do either.

Then dad and mum left for the wedding dinner at K.L central, which leaves me and calvin alone. “Hotel Alone 5″ , watched before? LOL.

Anyway, why am i here at Starbucks Coffee blogging with a laptop? Instead of enjoying the rides and the shops, attractions, or whatever.

Reason being, I’ve been here more than anyone does. My parents goes to Genting Highlands almost 10 times a year (no joke about that), and usually my lil brother will be brought along so is my sis and me(dependable on our schedules and mood).

THATS WHY WE ARE FREAKING BORED ABOUT GENTING HIGHLANDS.

 and now i can even know the locations of each shops and attractions. -.-

Anyway, today arrived quite late, due to a heavy rain and mist, and also my dad’s car engine getting weaker.. (dad says will be getting Honda Stream next yr Jan) new car to drive weee ~

After settling down in the hotel (First World Hotel btw, as usual),  watched some tv, played some DS lite games before coming down to First World Plaza for dinner @ MaryBrown’ s.

ok, now i want to blog about this cb MANAGER, judging from the uniform this fat bitch wore as to others.

As usual, when its my turn, i ordered 3 combo sets, and after placing the orders, i requested to change my chicken pieces into thighs. I dun really like breast meat, or chicken wings, so i prefered to change them even its back at hometown at KFC.

and usually KFC staffs, WHICH ARE MORE FRIENDLIER, will replied with you a standard answer, ” Sir, there are no promises, but i’ll try my best ok (; “

Anyway after this fed-up meal, walked about cooldown abit, and I went to watch Butterfly Lovers starred by Wu Zhun & Charlene Choi at the cinema with dad & calvin.

Not a bad movie i guess, given the fact that i never read any urban myths &s tories about Liang Shan Bo & Zhu Ying Tai, this movie clearly shows me the true meaning of the Butterfly Lovers and their destiny to be together.

The popcorns are cheap, only RM$3.50(SGD$1.75+/-), and so are the movies, RM$10.50 (SGD$5.25+/-).

Thou the seats suck, but i enjoyed the movie alot. I believes every lovers should watch this movie, to make them realise how fortunate they are being in love together without any obstacles, thou movies are just movies.

Might considered watching a second time, (;

Judging at the time now, 10.45pm, I think i better start packing up my stuffs and go back to the hotel for some sleep. Tmr might be an early trip down the mountains, as dad is changing hotel; to a hotel down the peak nearer to K.L, where he and mum will be attending a colleague’s wedding, which is also the purpose of the trip this time round.

So i might be able to get some internet connections, if there is an Starbucks Coffee, for an exchange investment of a cup of Coffee on my desk haha.

3 reasons to why i’ll never work for a NM company:

1st - You’ll start to lose every part of humanity in yourself, just to drive to top sales, agressively, starting to take out ur mobile phone and called every potential friends/relatives to purchase ur products, in simple, con your friends/relatives to buy ur products.

2nd - Their products are never useful, or really sellable compared to big brands. Only two kind of people will buy, 1. Idiot, 2. Too much money to waste .

3rd - I dun believe in how attractive the pay might be, earning thousands in a short period of time, I believe in reaping what I sow, using my bare hands and worked in an environment whereby I’ll enjoyed working with my colleagues and friends, unlike a salesman that goes knocking from door - to - door to buy my so-called ‘health beneficial’ products.

So, is this what we want in the end?

Recently, I went to attend this event about this NM (Network Marketing) company XXX ,their so-called achievement awards ceremony cum talk. I would be impressed to say that their company are much more well established compared to other NM companies,, with advisors following the CEO as he take his seat. Anyway, those who knows me knows about my anti-ness for NM, and might be wondering why i attended.

Of course, like anyone, i was being tricked into going this talk, from the brilliance of my friend’s magic words. Anyway, i stood my stand strong, and listened to what they had to said or what was on the agenda for this moody afternoon.

Nevertheless, the talk lasted for like 4 to 5 hours, with a very good inspiration Malaysian speaker taking the time for close to 3 hours of the whole thing, (which i loved this part the most; shall elaborate later on) , with people proposing marriage to his girlfriend infront of a strong 500 audience
crowd and of course the whole thing about this company, family tree, products they sold etc.

Now, whats about this Network Marketing thing?

Nono. Network Marketing refers to a kind of method used by some companies nowadays, to sell their high-end products to the world, by using brilliance magic words and spread of networks contacts. Also known as MLM formerly, which was banned few years ago in Singapore, SLM is the word to be.

MLM refers to Multi-level Marketing, whereby, there are different levels of marketing strategies used in the company, to achieved certain sales target.
I’m sure you guys know how a pyramid looks like, whereby the peak of the pyramid is supported by different levels of the pyramid, descending, from the first block on the top of the pyramid, to probably 100blocks at the bottom supporting the rest on the top.

Same goes for the human pyramid, which is being implied in MLM, the boss is being supported by the employees bringing in sales daily/monthly/yearly, to support this whole pyramid system/their company’s sales. To put things straight across, the ones on the top, including the boss of course, are leeching on the rest of the pyramid below. This whole pyramid system can be also seen as the infrastructure of the company. If the bottom levels of the pyramid are down, the whole pyramid might colapse.

Below might be a picture i found online to let you understand clearly how it works.

As you can see cleary, first the boss will recruit the pioneers of the company, and teach them how to bring in sales, using their network contacts and asking them to do so too. Then as time passes, more and more people will joined this company , from the spread of the words about how attractive the pay scheme and commissions could be, by joining this company, and asking more contacts to join too.

One clear difference you can see from here, that as the bottom levels keep growing, the top levels can become more relax and more relaxing. So simply, they are just leeching your sales, when you bring person in, and do sales for you. By leeching 1% of ur sales profit, it is already enough, as they are leeching a 100 of you. All these things clearly, when one went to their attractive and wow interview talk, of course they will tell you every thing nice about this job. In short, it means , the boss is sitting in his office, shaking his leg, while his downlines is bringing him the sales.

This is one reason, why MLM/Pyramid Selling is banned in Singapore, the illegal marketing strategy used by companies once to attain no-pain-and-gain money for the boss and the toplines in a MLM company.

However, MLM din’t died just like that. Instead, they are converting to SLM, or Single Level Marketing, whereby once the new employee hit a certain target for that company, no more leeching is being done once you hit the same rank as your supervisor/toplines. Whats the difference of this?

And so as you are working hard, trying to get contacts, to buy your so-called beneficial products offered by the company, the boss and the higher levels one are leeching your sales once you clinch every deal of it. And oh, they will tell you, if you hit a certain target, you are being promoted. Why not? It is just to attract your attention and your aggression in making sales for them, and then they earned tons of money of it, and ranks doesnt matter to them. Why be stupid and let the bosses leech you while you are working /slogging hard like a dog outside there?

And one thing about NM companies is that they like to push car incentive schemes for you, let say you hit 100k for this company, you are entitled to any car of your choice be it Merces, BMW, Audi, Lexus etc. . But have you think, that the company is so stupid to buy this car for you once you hit them? No. You have to keep producing results to show them, to keep bringing in sales for the company.

This is only the pros of a NM company. But once, you stop producing results, thats a gg for you. Good Game.
Your car, they will take back, or might just leave with you with debts, stripped you of your post. And there goes your luxury life. Not forgetting your friends who once grew thick and thin with you whom you just abandon while you become richer and richer one day in this company.

Oh, reminding me of this, once you entered a Network Marketing company, there’s no more u-turn for you. You will notice that, to be aggressive in sales to hit your so-called whatever incentive or car schemes, you will need to bring in more sales. That’s when, you look into your hp contacts, and start contacting friends/relatives to start off with to buy your so-called beneficial products. You will go into a state of madness or ki-siao-ness to draw people’s attention into buying your products, no matter what, and then con them to ask to ask their friends/relatives too. This is normal, when you are working in a NM company, to keep on con-ing and con-ing. And thats when, your friends know about your main motives , as a NM agent, to psycho and asked them to do such things to get sales, sooner or later, one by one will leave you.

And one day, when you found out that you run out of contacts, thats the day when you realised, you are no-one anymore and just some beggar on the streets, begging for money and friends.

To think of it, i would rather live in a HDB flat , drive a normal car and be happy with my friends, than stay in private estate with a big luxury car yet no friends and no humanity at all. In fact, one of my close friend, his cousin broke up with his boyfriend, just because of this kind stupid issues. Ain’t that stupid? Just by joining a NM company, when you think you be rich in few days/weeks/months, but yet you din realise, you are lossing love, friends, and part of you everyday .

So, think twice again folks, there’s no free lunch in this world. You want money, you earned hard for it, not going against your conscience and selling so-called beneficial products to your friends/relatives to earn that money. If they are beneficial products, why wouldn’t they just advertise on the market, rather than telling you this is approved by some miscanllaneous/unknown companies standard approval?

At the end of the day, its not about what you want, its about who you are.

I would choose to be a poor guy with friends, loves and humanity, than someone that lost his/her conscience and loved ones, just for money.

Have we ever wondered why friends around you tell lies all the time?

Self Desires? or Beneficial Lies to the world ?

In life, it is hard not to say a lie. Be it good lies, bad lies, human are always tempted to lie. Good lies refers to the beneficial of all, whereas bad lies are for self desires, in a form of either greed, lust or humanity. Most of the time, in this super realistic world, we tell lies not because we want to, but is because we have to. Sometimes, people tell lies, cos they have to fight for their own survival in the world, or they are being put into a corner. Then the utimate liar appears.

Take for example, David is having a party event tonight at a club with his colleagues, as a form of celebration, but his wife, doesn’t like that idea. So ? what did David do in the end? This kind of situation happens most of time, around us, just that we didn’t notice about it, and David, as a faithful and loyal husband, at the same time as a diligent and loyal worker too, doesn’t want to dissapoint his colleagues, for his colleagues are throwing a celebration party for him, are being put to a test. In this kind of situation, he has to give face to his colleagues meanwhile, hiding this thing from his wife, as he knows his wife doesn’t like this at all.

So what did he do to resolve everything?

“Darling. tonight im going to meet some clients for dinner, I’ll be late home, don’t wait for me, good night. Loves, David. ”

So, simply telling a lie, to cover everything, means everything is over?                                                                                            

The answer is no.

Worst-Case-Scenario:                                                                                                                                                               
David’s wife ’s friend was at the club at the same time, coincidentally, saw David, and say ‘Hi’ to him. Meanwhile, when his wife’s friend meet up his friend another day for coffee, guess what happens when the friend told his wife about his husband he saw that day in the club. She is completely caught unaware that her husband is dancing and drinking all night long when she supposed to thought that her husband is having dinner with some important clients. What would she think when she heard this?

Nothing, but lies, from him.

He could have made the situation better abit by being honest with his wife, but he knows that his wife will be abit unglam about the idea, but he has no choice. If we put ourselves in David’s shoes, what will you do? Lie, or tell the truth?

And in this-realistic-and-cruel-world we are living in, everyone makes a living, by telling lies at times. Out of how many millions or billions of people living in the country/world you are living in, are purely honest ones?

Probably the answer is 1 out of 1000 in such cases? And what happened when that pure one is being mingled and mixed into such a society we are living? The chances of that person still remaining purely honesty and not telling a single lie is slim, in the world are we living in now.

Everything’s about lies, Everywhere’s about lies, Today you come to this shop, they tell you this bag cost $35, then you went home deciding, and came back the next day to hear the bag cost $45. Not because they are lying about the price, but this is the world are living in, the sales they had to make, the lies they had to tell customers, in order to make a living for themselves.

And for promoters its even worse, there’s no such thing now such as honest sales anymore. Not from what i seen for the past few years, in the sales line. Everyone’s telling a big lie, to fight for their commissions, their own sales, their own survival. Dishonest sales, what i meant by that? Selling a customer or i say as, bluffing a customer your way thru, something that they don’t need is considered one. Take for example, a customer walks in this to a megastore and asked for a washing machine, but instead Adam walks to her and serve her. As Adam is not part of the store but as a promoter for its own brand, of course, he will have to fight for this potential customer, and ‘psycho’ the customer to purchase the cooking oven, which he is promoting as well.  Being a foolish yet honest person, the customer took every word the promoter said. Unsurprisingly, under the wonderful and brilliant spell cast by Adam, the customer unnoticingly fall into his trap and bought the oven as well. Little did she know when she reached home, she realised her oven is still working fine, and has no need for it. So , is the blame on the customer’s foolingness and honesty, or is the blame on the promoter who are telling a big lie to sell his products despite his wonderful sales talk?

The never-ending answer is, both are at blame. It is because of such foolish yet honest person existence that the liars around triumph to victory. Lies will bring about karma, and karma will fall on people, one day, and thats what i believe. Whatever you reaped, is whatever you sowed. One day, we will realise that the beneficial lies we said can be actually presented in a more honesty way, and the self-desire lies will be brought back upon us, from others.

However, we constantly always making the world a peaceful place to live in, but one day, if only all liars turn into honest people that does’nt tell a lie no matter what they do, then the world will be a conflictless place to be in.

But that day will never come.

8th July was yz’s birthday, and so was the last day before nerd gone into NS. and we went to catch the movie You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, play bomberman and then to Paris for a splendid goodbye-for-nerd-cum-yz-20th-birthday meal. haha.

the recent just-passed weekend; was Work with Singtel Roadshow again at Jurong Point. For godamn reasons, I just wanna continue working these cos its godamn fun . haha. Work was damn slacking especially when we had given out all the flyers. Anyway, Sunday was an enjoyable yet disappointed trip with siblings to Escape Theme Park , Downtown East.

Enjoyable cuz’ sibling’s love was in the air !

Disappointed cuz’ we queued up like freaking few hours for each ride.

Seriously, thou its my first visit to Escape Theme Park, I’d tell myself not to go there again unless for the Go-Kart of cos . Their theme rides are so un-thrilling and not-fun-at-all lor. Its like HongKong DisneyLand which i went 3 years ago with my family whereby you have to queue up for like 1 hour to 3hours time just for a stupid 3mins ride. All for the sake of Mickey Mouse and Friends ..

Likewise for Escape, the most enjoyable and the most ppl-queue up for is the Go-Kart. Its really damn fun the feeling of speeding down the slope with ur Accelerator pedal down and not stepping the Brake. please do not try this on real road LOL.

I still think that Movie World in , Brisbane, Australia is still the best theme park ever I been to. With lotsa of thrilling rides in the theme park, there’s more you can expect there.

anyway, last Wednesday went to this Da Chang Jin korean BBQ stone steamboat restaurant at Haji Lane. Food not bad, still alright. Give it a try some day guys. I think its good compared to the rest cos it also provides you the BBQ stone to bbq ur stuffs instead all dumping it into the steamboat which other steamboat restaurant does located near Bugis that junction there.

And with the bbq stone, we fried our whole fried rice LOL. with 2 eggs and strips of sausages complimented with some light soya sauce and pepper!

and during my lecture on thursday, i saw some vandilisatings in the lecture hall ’s chairs . .

doesn’t it look familiar as compared to the one look in the movie Secret by Jay Chou? Lol.. students nowadays really got better not to do. but its amusing i admit. haha

Finally quit D-Link after so much hesitation, and hopefully Tuesday ’s job interview will be a peaceful one

2 yrs ago when i just turned 18, i straight away go applied BTT(Basic Theory Test), and this is how it goes,

28 Sep 2006 - 1st BTT - Failed.
2 Nov 2006 - 2nd BTT - Failed.
11 Dec 2006 - 3rd BTT - Failed.
27 Dec 2006 - 4th BTT - Cancelled.
27 Mar 2007 - 4th BTT - Failed.
3 May 2007 - 5th BTT - Failed.
9 May 2007 - 6th BTT - PASSED.

After that, there goes the FTT (Final Theory Test).

16 Jul 2007 - 1st FTT - PASSED.
i’m scared of that place really thats why i study damn hardworking for this theory. lol.

14 Feb 2008 - 1st TP - Failed. 52 Demerit Points. Nice?
6 May 2008 - 2nd TP - PASSED. 18 Demerit Points. HAPPY

To those still taking the theories or driving tests, please do not give up on yourself when at a period of time everyone has already given up on you. I know walking out of the driving school when you just failed your test the feeling sucks big time but fight on. Be strong. Be positive minded. You can do it one day. Good luck to all for those coming tp and theories. (=

Anyway, during my tp, I could have got 12 demerit points or lesser. Cos of the stupid road hogging thing at this traffic junction which i didn’t really see as road hogging lo. Road hogging = 6 demerit points on ur tp.

my car was here initially. Cos Yio chu kang roads alot of left turn only sign on the roads, i decided to keep to the centre lane. and turned a suddenly turn to the centre lane.

after the turn, my car was here.

After the turn,
Tester: ” Can you give me a good reason why you switch lane just now?
Ben: ” er .. Cos yio chu kang here alot turn left only lane. den i only keep left on big roads . .. ”
Tester: ” do you know you are road hogging now? by switching lane abrubtly? ”
Ben: ” Sorry sir that was a mistake. ”
Tester: ” I’m also sorry that was a mistake that i have to marked you down for road hogging. ”

I tot it was gg (good -game) for me already.

When i reached back the tester’s office, here our quick yet scary conversation.

Tester: ” Haiz… ”
Ben: ” er.. ”
Tester: ” your 2nd time tp? ”
Ben: ” yes.. ”
(Looking at him damn nervous. I swear that point of time my balls are shrinking like a fish ball .)
Tester: “just now that junction, you shouldnt turn to the centre lane. ”
Ben: “i’m sorry sir, i know my mistake. I wont do it again. ”
Tester: “So i think you know your result already?”
Ben: ” (feeling damn sad when he said this ) .. ”
(Tester took the pen, and wrote 18 demerit points without letting me see my paper, I was thinking, 18 dp also can failed? then he cancelled failed and tick passed. )
Ben:” Thank you sir, i will check my blind spots in the future. Thank you very much. ”

OMFG . i was like on the top of the world lah.. man.. been a long route since i first applied. Looking back at ssdc, unless i going for my Class 2B Bike license or else i doubt i wont be coming back again ..

Anyway, mum’s bringing me to Perth next month, during the school holidays. Hopefully the date wont clashed with IT Show week, cos i would rather choose working at IT Shows with friends than going to Perth .

Anyway, friday after the Singtel Roadshow training,

me and louis and hy went Zouk . so random can. lol .it was not planned at all.

Anyway our entrance is free of charge. Saw louis ’s ex boss there, and he signed us in. save $33 for entrance fee

around 1am we left club and went to the Prata House opposite Grand Corpthorne hotel(the one outside Zouk) and had some pratas before going home. It was also the first time i left club so early lol. Thats very unusual of me cos the music that night really is boring.. =(

Saturday was Work with D-Link again at Fuwell, den head home for mahjong til 4.30am ..
Lost $40bucks in first round.
Lost totaling $65bucks in second round.
Heng in last round, recouped back some losses so not so terrible. Lost around $20 in total.

I think i lives by the nick, “a worker by the day, a gambler by the night” .

Today, Sunday was also Work with D-Link .. Damn sian at work.. But im glad to have a bunch of super lame and funny colleagues with me at work every weekends man..

Hopefully, I will get a change of job by next weekend.. School week = FYP & More higher maths shit stuffs man ..

After which, went for this movie : SuperHero movie as suggested by my dearest sister & her bf.

Seriously, this movie is disaapointing. Please don’t go waste money and watch. its just lame, lamer and lamest.

Talking some bloody nerd being stung by a dragonfly and doing stupid shit. the plot seriously is no link at all. scriptwriters obviously copying the storyline from Spiderman and parts of X-Men and make it into a super lame shit movie man..

Go watch Harold & Kumar 2: Escape from Guantanamo Bay instead. You will love the Cockmeat Sandwich, the George Bush & the squareroot 3in the movie.. damn funny and worth watching.

1)Imagine a virtual classroom(thou this concept has been taken by NUS), a online virtual classroom where everyone just download to their home pcs/laptop, then log in thru their school admin account . Upon login, they can view each other presence by seeing whether their classmates are at the virtual classroom too. For lecturers, they can hit a question that flash the whole screen, and can randomly select/click on their students to answer the question. Probably each students are given demerit points to maintain during this classroom, and lecturers can also based on this to know whether the students are paying attention.

Pros: Save conveniency of going to school and attend classes, just login in the software thru home will do.

Cons: Traffic delay if alot ppl login in at the same time, Bugs in firmware, high maintenance fee.

Budget: Real Time Software + Traffic logging analysis software cost at least a million.

2)Imagine if there’s a magnetic device tap-check with small LCD monitor or LED every corners of the campus, where students simply tap their school admin cards to check their next allocated class venue. Survey been done, and alot students tend to forget to bring their timetable or even print out, so most of the time, they tend to forget their classrooms venue. Upon tapping the admin card, the LCD or LED will reflect the student name followed by his next classroom venue etc.

Pros: Save the conveniency of bringing timetable(who doesn’t), and allows students time-to-time to check their next class venues.

Cons: Real time software is again needed here, and programming the magnetic devices synchronising with the admin cards ain’t easy, plus a huge online database is needed in order for this to process, and also Traffic Delay over time if alot students tapping at the same time.

Budget: LEDs might be cheap, but they are useless in near future. LCDs cost much more + the Real Time Software, expect over a million dollar project.

3)Imagine a online/touch screen street directory guide on LCD monitors place every corners of the campus, for campus freshmen or visitors to be able to use when they visit the school and lost their way. Freshmen, most of the time, lost their way around in school and late for class ain’t a reason. To resolve, we can design and install a layout in 3D visuals of the whole campus buildings etc. to accomodate the needs of the lost ones. And to add on special features, the software can also be designed to show any in-use classroom or lecture halls so as not to let people entered the wrong venue and disturb the teaching.(real time required here)

Pros: Flexibility, Conveniency; People who are new in the campus won’t get lost easily.

Cons: Maintenance of the software time to time when the campus has add on new features/buildings, and designing the database and the interior structure won’t be an easy job.

Budget: Only animations software required here, probably with add-on feature of the (in-use) sign for those venues on Real Time, it might cost a bomb. Else, this is a cheap project with simple budget .

Since morning yesterday 9.50am like that, I was at Hoyu Main office dying my hair when Vann join me later on..
AT LEAST, my hair now is more decent LOL. not so ah beng-ish as heavily commented by alot. Looked like some anime character with a streak of ash purplish hair instead of the under-bleached patch of hair on my fringe previously.. as Vann is probably the first one to witness it, she says okay so i think it means okay LOL.

anyway, after the snap snap, went to Jurong West for some errands with Vann and later went to Jurong Point for the movie, the Leap Years. Probably alot have watch the movie but, to those that haven watch, please go watch it before it is being removed from the box office. It is a damn touching movie with lot of flashbacks and love literatures words done. Nth much to elaborate on, but Li - Lin is really pretty even thou she’s like 35yrs old ? if im not wrong.

the Last Sunday, we went to the cemetry @ Lim Chu Kang there to sao mu. Every year, this date, or around the corner, my parents and i will not failed to make a trip down Lim Chu Kang cemetry and Kembangan Guan Yin Temple to pray to my beloved ah ma and ah gong.

Qing Ming Festival is celebrated and noted on the Singapore Calender to make sure we do at least visit our ancestors once a year, for the whole year round, we are always busy busy and forever busy.

Not surprisingly, when we reached Jalan Basar that route to Lim Chu Kang, the whole route to the cemetry is traffic congested.

Anyway, when we reached my ah ma’s tombstone, whats attracted us the most is not weeds and rubbbish on the grass patches on the tombstone covering the bone ashes but the freaking frog hiding in the vase on the praying altar on the grave..

ohh, forget to intro, my dearest beloved ah ma

What am i doing for the past few hours: Working at National Museum for Showtec, Teardown for Gucci Fashion Show, since 10pm to 7am TODAY.

And now, after this post i blogged, im going to work again for Showtec @ Suntec City Convention Hall 603 dunno wad kuku event , reporting time from 9 @ Showtec’s Warehouse store @ Tuas at 9am to probably 7 or 8pm in the night again …

Im going crazy over work, bo bian.

In summary, the event S-Pop Hurray! was being broadcasted on Channel U every Monday 7pm since 26th Nov 2007 all the way til yesterday when the event officially ended with alot of Superstars like JJ Lin(the ambassador for SPoP Hurray!), Ah Du, Li Sheng Jie, Elva Hsiao, Tanya Chua, Wu Qi Xian, Fann Wong, Li Zhong Sheng, Xiao Jing Teng and lots more celebrities & stars. Spop Hurray is to celebrate the Singapore Music Industry and their music productions for the running years ever since the 1980s.

Simply, those who went the concert LIVE would agree that the best performers would be Li Sheng Jie, 李圣杰, with his latest love piece 擦肩而过 from his new album, and old hits 最近, 手放开, and also the Taiwan Hot Newcomer songwriter/singer Jam Xiao Jing Teng, 蕭敬騰 with old hits 太想爱你, 解脱, 三天兩夜, 海芋恋. Their Live perfomance is really solid man, compared to alot other Singers last night, which was quite disappointing tothe audience.

Job was easy today, simply did usher-ing, blow balloons & help carried abit stuffs. Compared to the past few events setup jobs i worked before, this is counted as easy money already.

Not alone working of course, was with ShaoMin & Friends(Vanessa & Jacinta), and some other colleagues around our same age. Guys did most of the usher-ing, whereas the Girls did receptionists.

ohh, and something to mention, just now as me and a colleague was stationed at the carpark, which we were supposed to usher guests the way to the location, got this rich fuck drove past a Porshe Boxter, and suddenly stopped in front of us and here it goes;

Ben: Ohh, its down this staircase, turn right, walk alongside the boat dock and enter One-15.
Rich Fuck: Wow, thats far thou, where’s the main entrance?
Ben: its at the security post where you came in first. nearer to the One-15.
Rich Fuck: That’s far. can you help me park my car?
Ben look at his colleague, stunned for one second, and was thinking, omfg can, Porsche Boxter sia.. .
But before we said anything, the guy said.
Rich Fuck: Any charges for valet service?
Ben: Sorry, we only do usher-ing, we dont do valet parking. Sorry.

Me & my colleague, was like WTF. so rich, even if we really did valet parking for him, which was not included in our job, we will be liased responsible for his car, thats why my colleague who has a license, rather not risk it. But the thing is, the sentence from him, “any charges for valet service” . We were like wth, so rich even if we park for him he also should pay a small tips right, still ask any charges. So stingy !

ohh. talking about the IT Show 2008, very happy that for the 3rd time rolling, im working for Challenger. but, its rather sad that i can’t work for the last day, but im glad i make it a nice $600+/- this 3 days with 28 sets (1st day), 38 sets (2nd day) & 88 sets (3rd day) of harddisks approximately. Make new friends such as Ah Lian Hebe, Top Gay Seller Woen Teck, closer bonds with my sister’s best friends Mellissa and Joycelyn, with my 2 old disciples Wendy and Eng Har around my booth etc . . For the crowd wise, more aunties & uncles, more Indians, more chioBu;s as usual and rarely some N.U.M guys and Caucasians.

most importantly, our 1st yr anniversary @ Work with IT/PC/Comex/Sitex shows with Jelly.
We came so far, and in the future, if we did look back about all the shows we done, it will be definitely a piece of lovely memories in our hearts; the trips we took everymorning and night to and fro, the lunchbreaks we had together, the peeking of each other =x, the distractions , and much more . (;

anyway, back to my cruise trip . While the rest of my hardworking friends/colleagues are slogging their asses out, im boarding the ship at 12.30pm already (Feel so guilty hah :( ).

Boarded the ship at 12.30pm, with departure of SuperStar Virgo at 2.00pm from Harborfront Centre, we(my dad, mum & little weiwei) went to had our lunch first at Bella Vista, a fine dining restaurant in the ship. Simply every meals we had are mostly there.

In the Virgo Ship, there are a big variety of food choices and cuisines one can choose from. Variety starts from Chinese food, to Indian Food, to Western Food, to Japanese Food, to International Food etc. At times, there’s even a BBQ session onboard the ship on Days like Monday or Saturday at the Pool side at the highest deck of the ship.

Seriously, after you guys see the below pictures, you’ll know that setting up a concert ain’t easy. The Props, the Thrusts, the Platform, the Lightings, the Speakers, the Cablings. the much hardwork put in by 1231241493 people for days to set up the whole event, and the fun we had. Friends that worked with me for this show, Cheers, and a Thank You for helping out.

21 February , Thursday

Woke up at 8.30am, met Weiloong, Thomson, Bing Huan, Ping Yi, Kenneth, Hoe Yin, Melvin, Faizal and Weiloong’s friends for work. Reached Fort Canning Park @ 10.10am and today’s task is to built the thrusts. Let the pictures do the talking

22 February , Friday

this morning is fierce, cos 4 of us, Weilong, BingHuan, Kenneth & Me were told to come down early, to load the stuffs in the lorry, before heading to Fort Canning. Woke up at 7.30am, and left home at 8.15am. We were given $50 dollars to take cab down, and so we made full use of it.

Cab started with Kenneth house @ Yishun, to Ben’s house @ Admiralty, and to Weiloong’s house & Bing’s house @ Marsiling . Hoho. When we reached the store @ Tuas, the cab fee is a massive $46.50

And so, we tag along the lorry to Jurong East, where they unload some of the stuffs first, before driving us to Fort Canning.

After the shaky ride at the lorry back to Fort Canning, this is what I see. Everything almost up. The Lightings the cablings.

Another day @ work for me. the result of our hardworks after 2 day. Ready for concert this time round.

and after work, me and Weiloong were given a task to do. To guard the whole concert area from 9pm to 9am til our supervisor comes in, 12 hours of guarding for $80 cash + Cab fee. People, it ain’t an easy job. To alot on msn, i’ve expressed my fear for this job, cos we werent told of the job scope til at 9pm me and weiloong came in.

For your information, Fort Canning is the most historic part of Singapore. The Fort was named in 1861 in the honor of Viscount Charles John Canning, the first Viceroy of India. The hill underwent several name changes. The Malays called it Bukit Larangan (Forbidden Hill) for several possible reasons. (1) it reputedly contains the tomb or keramat of Sultan Iskandar Shah, the Malay ruler of the Kingdom of Singapura, who is said to have forbidden ordinary people to come to the hill because his concubines and wives used to bath at a spring there. (2) the Malays were fearful of climbing the hill as they thought the palace of their ancestor kings had once stood there. (3) the site had sightings of fabled lion for which Sri Tri Buana, ruler of Temasek, later named the island Singapura (Lion City). (4) besides the fabled lion, the Malays believed that the hill is haunted by many other ghosts and spirits.

The park walls are made up of tombstones and Fort Canning Park was once a graveyard for some 600 Christian grave. This used to be the old Christian Cemetery until 1865. The only graves left are at the far end of the Green (near Drama Centre). Those tombstones that were removed were set into the wall surrounding Fort Canning Green.

23 February , Saturday

Yes, during the night @ Fort Canning Park, i do catch a bit of wink here and there. And after the breakfast @ Marsiling Market, i reached home @ around 11pm. As I have work @ D Link, i couldn’t sleep too Slacked for awhile at home, and met Jelly to work at 1 plus.

Today’s @ Dlink was great, sales was extremely good, Sold like 13 products for DLink, with 6 routers

Anyway, lunch was with Jelly @ Marina Square. Thou the walk from Funan to Marina Square, but its worth walk and time to just have a meal with her (:

23 February , Sunday

Woke up super late for work at Funan today, went to work @ 3pm . WoW ~ haha. Work was supposed to be at 12pm, but in the end i went @ 3pm. Really, i’m really tired after the massive work we been doing lah. haha. pardon me, at least i make an effort down to work yah? =D

anyway, after work @ D Link, the tearing down of the concert is to be done. Reached Fort Canning Park at around 9+, when me and Louis went racquet around the area to find a place where we can view the concert for Free, just for the sake of it, cos the Concert is supposed to be paid per entry @ $98.

Tearing down is really easy, took like 3 hours for everything to be teared down, and as me , thomson, weiloong & Bing live @ Woodlands, the 4 of us had to travel with the lorry back to store @ Store to unload everything. Pretty just waited there for lorries, and did unloading til 4+ , when we cabbed home.

It was really a hardship job to work for, but, im feeling stronger every time i worked. .

And thats for the whole weekend i went mia.

Next job event on Wednesday to Friday, and i hoped its not so fierce this time round .. Saturday & Sunday @ D-Link as usual. .

Went to Calvin’s house @ Tampines there, took bus 969 and a freaking 45minutes to reach. God damn it. Thou Singapore is a small island of approximately 64km², but travel time from Woodlands to either Hougang, Pasir Ris, or Tanjong Pagar is freaking far lah.

Anyway, yup, reached Tampines Mall around 4, and went walk - walk the whole Tampines Mall and Century Square til the guys(Louis, Calvin, Kc, Hoeyin, Clement & Boon Ping) arrived from Tampines Giant with the food for the steamboat later.

Reached Cal’s house, and set up ready for Steamboat. Was joined shortly with long-time-no-see-classmates Pei En, WeiWei, WW’s bf and Anthony halfway thru the dinner.

And after the dinner, the nightmare comes. Went into Cal’s room, where Louis intro this game to us. On the table, there will be 6 shots of glass, which resemble the each number of a dice. The game will start with 6 empty shot glass, which you can mix anything inside, Liquor or Soft Drinks. Let say, the first player roll the dice into a container, and got 2, the no. 2 empty shotglass will be filled up by him/her, whatever the person want to fill with, mixer or neat. And if the next person roll a 2, he/she will have to drink up that glass. If he roll other numbers, meaning he/she is safe and carry to fill the empty shotglass. And theres a chance that a single person might have to drink 3 times if the dice keep getting the number of the shotglass which is being filled. And this is how the game goes, explanation in words might not be cleared, but those who played before will understand what im saying, and those who have not, lets us meet out and play the next time

20February, Tuesday

Woke up at 10am, had breakfast with pals then took back 969 back to Admiralty, home.

Went for Movie Marathon, Ah Long Pte Ltd first, which is indeed funny thou, quite entertaining too. Worth watching (: at least better than CJ7 and Kungfu Dunk i guess
After Ah Long Pte Ltd, went for Jumper as the night is still young. This movie, thou not much storyline, but the action, the teleporting, the settings, is all fantastic enough to make you drool.

the rest of the week, Thurs to Sunday will be all work work work ~~

As per normal weekend, went Funan work as a D-Link promoter. Sold 1 cameras, 4 routers and an Adaptor so happy lol. Ohh. and met Jelly for lunch too, which brings a smile across my face for the rest of the day even if walking from Funan the IT Mall to Marina Square (:

And she bought me jellies and gummies too ! even happier.haha. thanks girl. Anyway, after D-Link, u guys might think im crazy, cos after this 12-8 job, i went for another job again ! haha. work as an event management crew. Job is simple, to tear down events or do set up for events from props or lighting to sound and to banners etc. Ain’t an easy job but it was fun thou. Requires alot of teamwork for a heavy stuff to be loaded or unloaded, and the good thing about this job is they provide u food, drink and cab fee home too !

so yesterday, me, bing and spy and weiloong worked for this Lancer Evolution X’s roadshow teardown event at Old National Stadium from 9.30pm to 4.30am . thats freaking long hours can? but it was really fun thou, working with friends, taking first hand experience of the Evo’s .. reached home at 5am, and slept til like 11.45am, text daryl, for im too tired to go to work. . Went to J8 awhile, to pass Jelly the present and her SMT. anyway, as i was walking towards her store, there’s this little kid who lost her mum when he was left alone doing his art. poor little boy, i was also in your situation once, i know how it feels to be alone without seeing your parents. That kind of feeling, without your mum or dad without you when out, is scary . . anyway, that mum, seriously, she should at least stay put and accompany the kid and not letting a 4 yr old boy stay alone. his just only 4 yrs old lady..

Anyway for dinner, went to Yishun Blk 925 eat Zi Cha with parents and didi.

Its been a sad February 14th today, probably for alot lovers, they are celebrating their anniversaries or day together, like my sister and Mario, last night deciding where to go. For me, its simple, Valentine’s Day, is just another normal day for me every year, cause, since 3 years ago, i never had Valentine’s Day celebration before, probably borned to be a loner on this day, as always. .

Ohh .. just finish a 3-person mahjong 三角麻将 with my dad & mum. Lost $41 so proud man LOL. haha. si bei sian.. 3-person mahjong, thou play it alot times before, but is something thats super different from the normal 4 person mahjong. 3-person mahjong got alot of flowers 花, playing Fly (a tile in mahjong that u can replace with any card, something like joker) 飞 and only one color tiles only. Easy to game, Easy to lose alot also. As the game alot of flowers, one need to accumulate at least 5 台Tai before one can game it.

bingo.. i score the maximum til no one can imagined. 52 points .. Can you believe it? I was delighted cause during circuit, only 2 points deducted, which is from the slope which i need to do balancing and move off, i rollback abit. And outside road, 50 points gone, mainly, Wide Turning, Inappropriate lane, Wrong Gear, Insufficient Acceleration, poor control of Clutch, poor braking, no JUDGEMENT on road and checking of mirrors before moving off on junctions. Really feel damn sad mann.. But my parents said never mind, thou the $$$ is really hard-earning, (One TP test = $175, Car insurance + Warmup), but i feel very disappointed with myself. . oh and the tester is the Head of all. Mr Koo BB or sth one.. He told me, this kind case, how to pass me ? haiz..

Anyway, as Mr Tan Teik Ming always said, NO CAR ? Still got MRT lah ! LOL !

Looking at the results, this Valentine’s day can never be better for me .

February 13th

Went to Town with Louis and Hoeyin, shopped abit and spend quite alot on this stuff im going to do. Worth the money, worth the effort, worth everything. Hope you’ll like it and not toss it to the bin .

Anyway went off at 7.30pm to Boon Lay Raja Restaurant, where my family and my cousin’s family waiting for me for dinner. 8 Courses in total, 7 main + 1 desert course. Yum Yum

February 12th

Ohhh .. yeh.. this day was fun haha .. Was out the whole noon with Melvin and Zi Hui .. Went to Nebo Club @ Amk Hub for lunch den catch CJ7, quite cheap, cos we order all student meals ! haha. $6.00 for a main course + a drink.

After this we had to rush into the threatre, cause we are late! Cj7 Movie started at 2.40pm, but we went in like 2.50 already. Then, after awhile, like 3.15pm, the show ended. The 3 of us was like .. WTH?? show ended so early?? It was then Melvin realised, we went into the wrong threatre, omfg.. haha.. it was really funny man. We were in Cinema 3 all the while. We should be in Cinema 4. Cos when we entered the cinema, as there were alot of CJ7 movie slots playing at the same time, we din bother much about the Cinema and just follow the movie name into the theatre. Anyway, we pleaded with the staff and let us went back to the other RIGHT theatre. haha. yup, so, in the end, we watch abit from here, abit from there. Overall, we watch from the middle of the movie to the ending. So i guess wont be giving a review for the movie . (: Anyway, its touching i can say. hah.

The Joke of the wrong cinema lasted even til after that when we went Arcade later, and having our fun there ~

After that, Melvin left for driving lessons earlier, so me and Zi Hui, having nothing better to do, went to Bottle Tree Park @ Khatib there for Prawn Fishing ! Wee.. I can say, its really fun.. hahah..

Its okay, at least better than returning home empty handed. We all started as noobbss.. Right? haha.. Never mind, give chance to others if not they no prawns to fish also ~ =P Anyway the entire process was fun, one must be patience, and also be skilled to hook the prawn on when the prawn is biting the bait ..

February 11th

Did i mentioned i went for banquet dinner the last post? its rubbish LOL. simply just a buffet dinner at 公会.. Ate some, then asked kc came down and had a chat just below his house, which is nearby ..

As we both are a bit hungry too, thou buffet dinner was near, but i decided to spend my $$$ on better food haha.

Went to this Famous Shop selling Taiwan Snacks and their famous 臭豆腐(Smelly Beancurd) at Geyland Lorong 40+ lane.

Ordered 2 臭豆腐, which cost $2 per piece, but worth the price

its been the worst and most bored Chinese New Year i ever had.. Hopefully, next year would be better . Til now, i only had one angbao. Can you freaking imagine that? How pathetic can that be . .Mann.. All i wanted was a happy reunion with family, friends and relatives . . Sighh..

Let us recount backwards . .

New Year Eve, 除夕

Had an early reunion lunch with family, as they heading cruise in the night. Duration of cruise from New Year Eve to New Year Day 2. Don’t ask me why i dint go. After which, they left at around 7 + , and at night, head to MOS with Edwin & Weiloong. .

Initial idea was to go Phuture, Zouk, and the below picture is the queue of Phuture at 10.30pm.

at 10.50pm, finally queued to outside of WineBar , so happy. . but ..

at 11.00pm, we are still here ..

11.10pm came, and the infront queue was all pissed off, as the bouncer at Phuture said it was full house. Damn it.. lol.. so headed to MOS Instead , after deciding between waiting at Phuture for entry, which was nearly impossible, or headin to Zouk, the place i loathe the most..

Spend our whole night at Mos, mann .. the night was young , and wild . lol .. so happening .. thou theres alot of banglas, transexuals and foreigners as usual, the 3 of us still had our fun there ~ haha.

around 3.30am, we came out and went to Macdonalds for breakfast. . Our first meal for New Year Day 1 weee . haaha. Cabbed home and finally slept at 6.30am . . .Snore snore snore ..

Chinese New Year Day 1, 初一

Woke up from a slight headache at around 3.00pmlike that.. Was supposed to meet Jelly for movie in Town, but in the end, i headed to her Grandma’s house at 6pm .

Waited for her sis back, and then played mahjong for 4 hours like that . .
Headed home at around 12 midnight, and there goes my Day 1. haiz..

Chinese New Year Day 2, 初二

Woke up at around 10am , was gaming the whole morning til family reached home, and i thought they were going to pai nian @ 2nd Aunt house. In the end, we went nowhere, and stayed at home til around 6+ , when Mario(Jeffery) asked my sis out and me & weiwei tag along too lol ~

Went to Jack Place’s for a decent dinner.

Well well well.. for those who have watched the show, yupp, we will agree that fans’ of Jay Chou will love the show alot, no matter what his cast and the movie is about, for we only care about his appearance and sillyness (;
Not a bad movie, with comedy Artistes like Eric Tsang(Wang Li), a special guest appearance by Wu Zhong Xian and and New faces like Chen Bo Lin(Ting Wei, Captain of Basketball Team) & Baron Chen(Xiao Lan). The stupid lame jokes by Wang Li and Shi Jie(Jay), somehow managed to perk up the audience, as the beginning of the movie is pretty boring. Basically, if this movie is cast without Jay Chou, i bet anyone would wanna watch the movie thou, except for basketball lovers i guess.

In summary, this will be what i reviewed for this movie, Kung Fu Dunk.

After the movie, we headed back home, and the first time in which Jeffery came to our house too. My sis must be flying up in the sky haha. Called Weiloong, and had mahjong to like 3.30am ? so happy cause this day i won $50 in mahjong =x

Chinese New Year Day 3, 初三

Saturday, the day which I planned that Mee Family coming to our house and probably my polyfriends too. .Anyway , things was cocked up, and in the end only Jelly, Siling, Weiloong(yup he spend the night at my hse lol so he was still here), Edwin, Jenny turn up. The rest all cannot make it, and sigh, this is will be the last time i going to ask people come my house anymore. It was like, everything being planned, and people trying to be funny?

anyway, gambled the whole noon away with poly friends of Wendy’s and mine as mentioned above, to around 2.30pm, everyone left.. Accompanied Jelly to her Aunt’s house, at which, i headed back home, alone, yes. Sometimes, i feel like im always living in my own world, with not much friends around me. It was very bored for me, when i reached home, and slept til night when Edwin & Jenny & Mario turned up too..

Same thing happened again, the 5 of us, me, my dad, mum, Weiloong & Mario, gambled the 2nd time for the night going, and this time round, all lose to Mario, the utimate winner for the night, $116 right? hah.. You can imagine how good his mahjong skills is, with alot of 5 & 4fan kao (5 Tai Game) . Anyway , mahjong is mostly about luck, if you are lucky, no matter what, tiles will just come to you like your brothers, and you will be destined to win if the game is in your hand.

And for this special game, at the end of West Round , 西风, my dad stood up and i took over. At the 北风, whatever i say, you wouldnt believe it. Tell me, how many ones can get a set of hands with 10 tiles to 13 -yao , the best tile set in the game, also considered the luckiest if you game it.
I got it, only left with 1 bamboo and 9 bamboo and a 白板.

and then, 1 bamboo and 9 bamboo came, and i was left with 白板. It was at this moment, when weiloong toss the 白板 on the floor, and den Jeffery toss another tile into the floor. And i fucking missed my 13 yao hu lah ! 5 Tai leh.. wtf. if i game it, it is $13.30 x 3 leh .. you can imagine that.. OMFG.. cos the thing is i nv hu a 13 yao before, so i dunno hwo to do it, it was then my dad told me, you have everything le, you can kao just now one.. and i missed that fucking chance. 13 yao comprises of the above tiles + any of the tile above for the Eyes. Si bei fucked up mann.. Even my mum gamble 20years of mahjong, also rarely kao 13 yao before, cos it was really really very hard to get this kind of tiles one.

SIGHHhhh. how dumb can i be.

Chinese New Year Day 4, 初四

Woke up after a sad night, becos of the 13 yao thingy, and headed to driving at yck at 1.30pm til 3.00pm and headed to Toh’s Association, 公会, at Lorong 35 Geyland road, which is also near to Kwen Chye’s house to meet my parents.
